Transcendence Theatre Company has concluded a successful run of their 2020 Best Night Ever Online virtual season with several exciting highlights to announce.

For the fourth and final production in their 2020 Best Night Ever Online Virtual Season, Transcendence Theatre Company is pulling out all the stops and will present a night of unforgettable song and dance with their Annual Gala Musical Fundraiser, September 11th through 13th.

For the third production in their 2020 Best Night Ever Online Virtual Season, Transcendence Theatre Company will present I Hope You Dance, August 14th through 16th, 21st through 23rd, and will be offered on the Transcendence Theatre Company website through the online platform YouTube.

The Carbonell Awards, South Florida's Theatre & Arts Honors, held its 44th awards ceremony-the first virtual one in its history-on August 3.

Transcendence Theatre Company, the award-winning, Sonoma County based theatre company, will open their 2020 virtual season with 'Don't Stop Believin', July 10th through 12th, 17th through 19th,  and will be offered on the Transcendence Theatre Company website through the online platform Vimeo.

Transcendence Theatre Company, the award-winning, Sonoma County based theatre company, has announced an all new virtual season of Broadway Under the Stars.

Eleven schools were selected as a Main Stage show for the 2020 International Thespian Festival, an honor achieved by only 11 high school productions in the nation. The invitations are based on productions that were adjudicated last fall and winter.

Gibney, the New York-based dance and social justice organization, announced the appointment of Alexandra Wells as Senior Director of Training and Company Advisor, effective July 1.

Stephan Stubbins, co-Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer of Transcendence Theatre Company, has announced he will step down from his role in February. Transcendence is best known for its a?oeBroadway Under the Starsa?? performances in Jack London State Historic Park, as well as its education, outreach, and service projects throughout Sonoma County and the North Bay.

Palm Beach Dramaworks, the West Palm Beach theater which won the most Carbonell Awards of any theater in 2018, is now the most-nominated theater for 2019.

Following a record number of nominations and votes, winners have been announced for the 2019 BroadwayWorld San Francisco Awards, brought to you by TodayTix!! The nominees were set, audiences voted, and now we get to recognize local theatres and performers for their outstanding achievement!

Gina Gibney, Founder, Artistic Director, and CEO of Gibneya?"the trailblazing, New York-based dance and social justice organizationa?"announced today that the organization has received a $2 million gift from Andrew A. Davis, a Trustee of the Shelby Cullom Davis Charitable Fund, to support the transformation of its resident dance troupe, Gibney Company. In the next phase of an ongoing visionary expansion of the Gibney organization, Gibney Company, formerly Gibney Dance Company, will become a commission based, repertory company that works with renowned and rising international choreographers representing a broad range of aesthetics and techniques. With new possibilities for commissioning original works, Gibney Company will retain its longstanding spirit of experimentation while taking a leading role in shaping a more robust landscape for contemporary dance in New York, and beyond. The Company, which will double in size, will perform regular seasons in New York and tour nationally. Gibney Company will make its debut at The Joyce Theater in New York in November 2021.
