Now celebrating its 11th anniversary, Goodspeed Musicals has announced the participants for the annual Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Grove at Goodspeed Musicals which will be held January 31 - February 27 on the Goodspeed campus in East Haddam, Connecticut.

With a lovely intro by Janet Roston, the Director, Choreographer and Artistic Director of Mixed eMotions Theatrix, standing outside on a beautiful California sunny day atop the Glendale Library and Arts Center grounds in Glendale, we are given a verbal road map about what we are about to see. The setting alone makes me want to take the trip already. Such a beautiful location to watch dancers experience the freeing and exhilarating feeling of dancing or flying through the air with the freedom of no walls, barriers or roadblocks in and around natural surroundings with beautiful architecture and sculptured landscaping to form patterns around.

Talking Animals Music and Folktale Winery have launched a new collaboration with music artists who perform at the winery in Carmel, CA.  Kicking off with the Grammy Award nominated singer/songwriter LOLO and her newest EP LOLO Solo: Live at Folktale Winery, Folktale's newest wine is Talking Animals LOLO PINOT NOIR (Mission Ranch 2014). The EP is only available through the Talking Animals Music website, and a special code on each bottle of the wine unlocks access to download the songs.  To celebrate the launch, LOLO will perform a private, solo concert on Wednesday, September 19th at Folktale Winery in Carmel, CA.

Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University has announced it will host an exquisite Governors' Ball on its grounds the evening of Monday, April 29. Governor Chris Christie will serve as Honorary Chairman of the event, with a number of New Jersey's former governors expected to attend. The Governors' Ball will mark Governor Christie's first visit to Liberty Hall Museum, the former home of New Jersey's first elected governor, William Livingston, and six successive generations of the prominent Livingston and Kean families.
